Private Waters - Goodrich Creek at 101 Fishing
Goodrich Creek is a Spectacular Spring Creek located on the 101 Ranch in Lassen County in beautiful northeastern California. The environs surrounding the creek are home to abundant wildlife, spectacular scenery and superb catch and release angling for large Rainbow and Brown trout. At an elevation just over five thousand feet above sea level where the Sierra Nevada mountains meet the Cascade range, Goodrich Creek has colorful springs, cool summers and spectacular fall seasons.

Special efforts have been made to protect this marvelous spring creek and its surroundings to preserve the stream habitat, excellent trout fishing and abundant wildlife. The end result of these efforts is a very special place for the fly fisher.

Goodrich Creek is home to prolific hatchers throughout the season. Pale Morning Dun, Hexagenia, and Blue Winged Olive mayflies, caddis, and Little Yellow Stones are all in abundance. In addition to aquatic insects, terrestrials also provide the fly fisher many opportunities for great fishing. Extremely large populations of grasshoppers, beetles and ants help Goodrich Creek fish grow fat and powerful! Anglers of all skill levels will find Goodrich Creek an enjoyable experience. Two and a half miles of spring fed stream with placid, meandering meadow water, Goodrich has many undercut banks in the lower reaches and faster flowing water upstream as the creek winds through the pine trees, its progress downstream broken by rock ledges and logs. Goodrich Creek offers the fly fisher superb dry fly, nymph and streamer fishing. It's the perfect place to hone your angling skills. There are two cozy mountain cabins available for overnight stays. The Osprey cabin accommodates up to five guests and the A-Frame cabin accommodates two very comfortably. Both cabins are furnished and have kitchens equipped with all the basic supplies. Each cabin features indoor plumbing, propane and electric lighting, and propane heaters for your comfort. Outdoor gas grills are provided for your convenience. And of course, both cabins offer splendid views of this very special place.

The opportunity to enjoy this unique spring creek experience is by reservation only and space is always very limited. Day use and overnight packages are available. Please fill out our form below!
